We are committed to sustainable tourism, and we work closely with local communities to ensure that our guests can enjoy the beauty of the Mara while also contributing to its conservation and development.

Our sustainable tourism initiatives include:

  • Using solar power and other renewable energy sources to power our camp.
  • Recycling and composting all of our waste.
  • Sourcing our food and supplies from local businesses and communities whenever possible.
  • Supporting the Nashulai Wildlife & Training College to produce experts in tour guiding, wildlife conservation management & culinary culture.

Here are just a few of the ways that you can experience sustainable tourism at Resian Mara Camp:
  • Go on a game drive with a local Maasai guide. Our guides are experts on the Mara’s wildlife and culture, and they will share their knowledge with you as you explore the reserve.
  • Visit a Maasai village and learn about their traditional way of life. You will have the opportunity to meet the villagers and see how they live in harmony with the natural world.
  • Participate in a community conservation project. You can help to plant trees, build fences to protect wildlife, or clean up the environment.
  • Enjoy our delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. Our chefs prepare a variety of dishes that showcase the flavours of Kenya.

We invite you to join us for a sustainable and unforgettable safari experience at Resian Mara Camp.
